Are you a member of the Scout Network? Would you like to become involved with adult leader training? If so, please get in touch with your County Training Managers now! The County Training Team would like to include members that are Scout Network age to help support, facilitate and deliver the modular training scheme to adult leaders throughout the County. Training Module/Course Price List:

For this year, County organised training course costs are as follows:

• Individual modules are £3.00 each (including Safeguarding Awareness Training).
• Module 10 (First Aid) Training is £8.00 per person.
• Residential Section Leader Training weekend course is £35.00 per person
• Module 16 &38 – Nights Away Training weekend course is £45.00 per person

Module 16 &38 “Nights Away” Training Courses -  18th-20th May 2018 & 21st-23rd September 2018

Do you need Nights Away and Outdoor Skills training for your Wood Badge? Well, you will be interested to read that a new format Nights Away training course will run this year TBA, starting on the Friday evening and ending on the Sunday afternoon at Sudbrooke Park Scout Campsite, Wragby Road, Lincoln. The cost of the course is just £45.00 per person . The cost includes camping/accommodation fees, food, beverages and all training resources. This is very much a practical, informative and fun-packed course so be prepared to spend most of the weekend outdoors and getting stuck in! Shacklewell Residential Section Leader Training Weekend Course -15th-16th September 2018

This course will take place at Shacklewell Hollow Campsite, A606 Empingham Road, Stamford on the 25th-26th March 2017. Modules covered during this course include:  7 (Scouting for all) 12A(Delivering a quality programme) 12B (Programme Planning) 14 (Supporting Young people) 15 (Promoting positive behaviour) 17 (Running safe activities) & 19 (International). Course Director is Ian Henderson , LTMs Stamford and Bourne email address is ltmstamfordandbournescouts.org.uk. This course will cost just £35 per person and covers camping fees, food, beverages and modules resources.  There is indoor accommodation at Shacklewell, but should you wish to camp please indicate when you return your booking form.  If you need on line banking pleas ask Wendy Smith

  If you would like to attend this much sought after course, please contact your Local Training Manager (LTM) or Wendy Smith (training@lincolnshirescouts.org.uk) as soon as possible.  When your application form and your booking fee have been received, you will then receive directions to Shacklewell,, a programme for the weekend and the joining instructions.

This course is on a first come basis and places are highly sought after, so it is important that you get your completed application form and payment in to the course administrator, Wendy Smith (County Training Administrator) as soon as possible. This course will take place at the Sudbrooke Campsite, Lincoln .  Modules covered during this course include: 6 (Changes in Scouting) 8 (SKills of leadership) 9 (Working with adults) 11 (ADministration) 13 (Growing the section) 18 (Practical Skills) .  This course will cost just £35 per person and covers camping fees,  Sudbrooke has no indoor accommodation, food, beverages and modules resources.

If you would like to attend this much sought after course, please contact your Local Training Manager (LTM) or Wendy Smith (training@lincolnshirescouts.org.uk) as soon as possible.  After booking They will provide you with a set of Joining Instructions ,a programme and directions to Sudbrooke.   The course Director is CTM Elaine Marshall.

`First Aid Training

First Aid Training Courses for 2018: 

The County Commissioner has proposed that four First Aid Courses should be set up throughout the County and that these courses will be delivered by Lives.  There will be 15 Free places on each course.  If anyone books on to one of these courses, and then does not attend, that leader will have to pay the full cost of the Course which will be £20.  For all courses please bring a packed lunch.  The dates and venues are not confirmed as yet but it is suggested that:

DATES: 

              Saturday 5th May 2018   For Gainsborough, Lincoln with Market Rasen.  This Course will be held at 3rd Gainsborough HQ,  White Woods Lane,  Gainsborough,DN21 1TQ Between 10am and 5pm

​                Saturday 7th July 2018 For Sleaford, Louth,  Skegness & Spilsby,  Boston.  This course will be held at The Reading Room, High Street, Binbrook LN8 6BH starting at 10am to 5pm.

                  Oct 2018  For Grantham

Stamford and Bourne District Training.

Ian Henderson, LTM Stamford and Bourne, is holding  a PLP and Validation Cafe at Wittering School and he is happy for anyone to attend.   The dates are:

Saturday 12th May from 9.30 - 12 noon                                           Thursday 24th June from 6.00 -8.00pm

Saturday 24th June from 9.30 -12 noon                                            Monday 18th June from 6.00 -8.00pm
