Christopher, who sadly lost his life in October 2020 was a keen scouter who took every opportunity that was given to him. His most memorable trip was definitely Kandersteg International Scout Centre. In his memory, his family have created a yearly event that has something for everyone, based around Christopher's favourite things. This year, there is camping available all weekend and a car and bike show on the Saturday and Sunday alongside trade stalls, craft fair, fairground rides and inflatables. On the Saturday, they have an amazing line up for the music festival and on the Sunday local youth groups will be performing for the family fun day. There will also be wall climbing, axe throwing and archery available. The event will raise funds that will allow local Scouts to access experiences and camps making it truly accessible to everyone. Christopher got so much out of Scouts, the family want many more young people to have the opportunities he did. Please bring your families along for a fantastic weekend. See www.cmmrally.co.uk for more information and information on ticket sales.
