Trustee's needed

What Trustees do, really makes a difference.

The role of our Trustee Board is to make sure that we are strong enough to inspire a generation of young people to step up, dream big and gain skills for life.

As a trustee, you would make a huge contribution at county level to the UK’s biggest youth movement. Now more than ever, our young people need skills for life to prepare them for the future. But for that to happen we need great foundations in place to keep Scouts safe, to ensure we are financially robust, and to deliver fantastic support for our volunteers in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Scouts are looking for Trustees. We need your experience and wisdom to help us make sure we’re well governed and managed. I am looking for people from a wide range of backgrounds, although I would particularly value expressions of interest from those with skills in Finance, Safety, or Marketing.

It’s such a privilege for me to lead our County. Every one of us is guided by our Scout values of integrity, respect, care belief and cooperation. If these values resonate with you too, then I would be delighted to hear from you to join our Trustee team.

To find more about these roles, take a look at the role description or email me at howard.nelson@lincolnshirescouts.org.uk

Nominations / applications can be made to https://forms.office.com/e/z5994WnHXi

I look forward to hearing from you.
