The new Scouting database will make volunteering in Scouting easier as all learning, permits and records will all be in one place. Young People data in OSM will not change – the new database is for adult members only. You should now have received your login details for the new system – these were due to be sent by 2nd December for all members.
What do I need to do?
There is a useful 'First Steps' checklist around what to do when your first login. When you get your details you will need to:
1. Log into the new system and reset your password
2. Complete the ‘declarations form’
3. Check that your personal details are correct
4. Review your training and activity permits (if you have them) to ensure they have migrated across correctly.
How can I get support with the new system?
