Domain Name Management

Lincolnshire Scouts can support with domain management for your Scout Group or Scout District to allow you to have personalised e-mail addresses on Microsoft 365 whilst pointing to your own website (or the County or a District website).

In Scouting we often find that individuals purchase domains, registering it to themselves, which can cause issues, especially if those at Group/District level don't have the understanding/skills.

Centrally managing these provides the benefits of having support from the County Team, supporting good governance and protection for your Group/District when volunteers move on or leave Scouting.

We benefit from monitoring by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) for all our domains. They constantly monitor for vulnerabilities and other issues, highlighting them to us to be resolved. We have actively worked to implement their advice to prevent domains being spoofed or subject to other cyber-related vulnerabilities.
